About Me

Welcome to my page! My name is Bridgette Wiegand and I am the owner of Genuine Mischief photography. I am a current full time recreation therapist here in Helena, Montana. I have a strong passion for helping people find joy again in life by slowing down and enjoying recreation. We have two collies Swift and Banksy who you will see featured on social media frequently. We also have Sage, a mischievous black cat who "assists" on every art project in our house. Whether its sitting on my laptop while I'm editing, leaving paw marks in pottery, or leaving teeth marks in all the erasers in the house she has to be involved. Hence the name genuine mischief.

I started my photography business in middle school with my sister as my model (she would probably say hostage, tom-ato tom-ahto). Since then photography has remained a constant passion of mine often finding myself drawn back to it whether by volunteering my services at Margaret Stuart Group home, or by second shooting under some wonderful local photographers. I have now shot weddings consistently over 5 years, with several weddings under my belt as both a second shooter and lead photographer.

I am now assisted by my wonderful husband Travis who serves as my assistant and second shooter.
